At the risk of sounding cold and calus.....
Is it just me, or does all the people on TV asking for donations for Haiti just tick you off.....
Even a little?
I mean seriously, I feel bad about what happened to them.....
For sure it sucks......
But shouldn't we be more focused on our country?
Aren't we already giving them 100 million dollars in aid?
Doesn't that mean that we as tax payers will be footing the bill?
I'm just saying......
You know.....
I know this probably sounds so wrong.....
I'm one of the most giving souls you will ever know.....
But when do you stop giving?
I mean if we gave everytime someone asked for something we would never have nothing......
Peace out peps.
3 FANS!:
I too think it is horrific...
To be honest... I do try to give every time someone asks. I don't have oodles of money or resources but I very much believe in my faith and purpose and I listen and pray and determine need. I figure that frowning and grimacing and complaining about taxes and giving when there are bloody dump trucks filled with bodies lining the streets... my complaining would just feel like judgement. It's need beyond comprehension and if a measly $5 from me or my participation in commenting on a blog or becoming a fan on Facebook can benefit an organization that will help the unbelievable crisis in Haiti... it's a very small sacrifice on my part.
Wait a second. I think a pig just flew past my window. That's the only way to explain what sounds a little bit like...you and Rush Limbaugh sort of agreeing about something...
