I know I may have come across the wrong way in my last post....
It's defininately not that I don't think that Haiti needs help....
I just think that we should try to focus more on our own problems.....
Believe me, I do feel so much grief about what happened there.....
To see people suffering is something that my heart can hardly bear.....
Sometimes, I just don't even watch the news so I don't have to see the pain and bullshit that goes on in this world......

Haiti's situation is terrible. Heartbreaking. I want to hop on the next plane and get down there to help. Only I don't have any money and I don't have any sort of skill that would be of the slightest assistance to anyone. Except the fact that I speak enough French to understand Haitian Creole.
I don't necessarily think our government should be plugging in hundreds of millions of dollars that we just yanked out of the printing press, but the messages asking PEOPLE, INDIVIDUALS, CITIZENS OF THE WORLD to help those that have absolutely no way of helping themselves do not bother me in the least.
Morally, those who can help should do so. I know it seems overwhelming at times, but our problems are not just colloquial ones and every ounce of goodness we perform in this life will have consequences greater than any disaster.
