So I found this on youtube and thought I would share it with you. Kind of funny in some parts, kind of retarded in others but really a good video. And it really doesn't apply to just NYC accept for certain parts. So, enjoy.

Chile Earthquake
It's been a super crappy day today.....
My friend Diego, aka Papi, who lives in Santiago, Chile hasn't been heard from since the earthquake this morning.....
We have heard through a mutual friend that he is okay and was at the coast when it hit, and they are currently making their way back to Santiago, but.....
It just really sucks......
Y'all keep him in your prayers.

Quote of the week
“Nowadays, a favorite fixation is how can we make teens understand the foolishness of putting drunken, naked spring break pics on Facebook. But from where I sit, it ain’t the young’uns having notable trouble using technology with any level of common sense. Every time you turn around, an ostensible grown-up has done something monumentally stupid like sexting his mistress, sending filthy instant messages to strapping young House pages, or tweeting about his congressional delegation’s classified landing in Iraq. And how about that moron in North Carolina who googled the many ways to kill a person in the days before killing his wife? Now there’s a guy in need of a lesson on the dangers of interconnectivity.”

Weather isn’t the same as climate
Whenever there’s a bad snowstorm, said Clarence Page, climate-change deniers shout their standard refrain: Global warming doesn’t exist! It happened again last week, when twin blizzards pummeled much of the East Coast. The record-breaking snowfalls, Sean Hannity cheerfully declared on Fox News, “would seem to contradict Al Gore’s hysterical global-warming theories.” Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma touted pictures of his family building an igloo with a sign that read, “Al Gore’s new home.”
Sorry to spoil your fun, guys. But scientists have been warning for at least 20 years that the warming of the atmosphere will cause more extreme weather of all kinds, including, yes, more severe snowstorms. Warmer winter air collects more moisture, which turns into snow when it hits a cold front.
Now there’s nothing wrong with being skeptical about climate change; the public is entitled to ask questions and demand evidence. But one snowstorm or one hot spell proves nothing. Weather and climate are not the same thing, and “we owe it to our offspring” to know the difference.

So I hope everyone's weekend has been good.
I was pretty busy.
Work has away of doing that.....
I've been putting in way to many hours but my checking account is starting to show for it.....
Paid off my credit card today and still have over a grand in the bank.
Rent is paid for for March and so are utilities so, I guess it isn't all bad.
I just wish there was time to do something instead of working all the time.....
I have spent the day doing laundry and cooking stuff so that I can just reheat and eat.
Not the best way to enjoy life but alot cheaper than eating out every day......
Y'all be good. I will see you down the road.

Editor's Letter: Our country’s future
In Colorado Springs, says local businessman Chuck Fowler, “Atlas is shrugging.’’ The city government of that conservative, anti-tax community had a huge hole carved in its budget by the recession, falling sales-tax revenues, and escalating pension and health-care costs. When the city proposed tripling property taxes to make up the shortfall, the indignant citizenry said: No way. So Colorado’s second-largest city is now a laboratory in minimalist, Ayn Rand–style government: Dozens of police and firefighter jobs are being eliminated, and the police helicopter is up for sale. Recreation centers and pools are being shuttered; potholes will be left unrepaired; more than a third of the streetlights have been turned off. Parks will not be mowed regularly or watered at all; municipal trash cans are being hauled off, and replaced by signs advising people to take responsibility for their own trash.
Is this our country’s future? Quite clearly, our appetite for government services now exceeds our willingness—indeed, our ability—to pay. Even the federal government cannot print money and borrow trillions indefinitely. So do we accept painful tax increases at virtually every level of income—or do we drastically reduce our ambitions, and our expectations? (See Controversies.) For more than half a century, America has truly been the exceptional nation, with a costly safety net for the poor and the elderly; armies of public servants to educate our kids, clean up our messes, and keep order; and a military so rich in weaponry and manpower that we have extended our influence over every corner of the globe. Sooner or later, something has to give, and it will have to be big. You can’t erase trillion-dollar deficits by turning out the streetlights.

40 Car pile up on I70 in Kansas
BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. -- A burst of snow made traffic treacherous Sunday afternoon, causing a series of multi-car wrecks throughout the metro, wrecking more than 100 vehicles.
Kansas Highway Patrol officials closed westbound Interstate 70 at the K-7 Highway interchanged due to a multi-vehicle accident. As many as 40 vehicles were involved, including two Greyhound buses. Traffic was backed up as far as a mile and officials anticipated the roadway being closed for several hours. As of 5 p.m. westbound I-70 continued to be shut down and just one lane was open on eastbound I-70.
The University Of Kansas Hospital reported 15 people were transported to their hospital and five were admitted. None of those that were transported has serious injuries.

Two sets of accidents on I-435 near the Kansas River slowed traffic and wrecked at least 40 vehicles.
Northbound 69 Highway was closed at 87th Street after five cars wrecked. Traffic was diverted onto 87th Street.

Chemistry Profiler.....
I took a test and this is what it said about me.....
Self-Confidence
As someone with high self-confidence, you feel quite comfortable interacting with other people. Indeed, you find the company of others very stimulating and enjoy meeting new people. Your relaxed demeanor in groups makes people around you comfortable too. Perhaps because you feel comfortable talking about yourself, others tend to enjoy being around you and perceive you as socially competent.
The confidence that helps you feel comfortable talking to people also spills into your own personal beliefs about yourself. Although you have several strengths, it’s likely that you also acknowledge and accept your weaknesses. But unlike some people, you take full responsibility for your actions—you rarely regret things you’ve done in the past and are not embarrassed easily.
Perhaps the defining feature that sets you apart from most people is the exceptionally high standards that you set for yourself. Your competence in social gatherings as well as at work should provide ample evidence for this. With these characteristics, it’s very likely that people come to you for advice and generally think of you as someone with leader-like qualities.
Family Orientation
As someone who respects family values, you tend to enjoy the company of family-members and are open to living a domestic life. If you have children already, you enjoy spending time with them very much and work hard to be a good parent, but may occasionally wish to “cut-loose” and let your true colors show. If you don’t have children, you probably desire having a family sometime in the distant future. Although you occasionally enjoy cooking at home, you also like going to restaurants. This has the potential to create added stress as you transition into parenthood.
You are attracted to the idea of having a family and may be willing to work hard to achieve this, although not necessarily any time soon. This conflict is illustrated by the fact that you don’t mind doing things around the house—like cooking and entertaining guests—on the one hand. But, on the other hand, you also like going to restaurants and parties. It’s possible that in time you might prefer spending time at home more because you won’t feel like you’re missing anything when you don’t go out.
One aspect of yourself that makes you likely to become more family oriented is that you generally know how to manage your frustrations and work well on your own. This means that you have some of the basic ingredients to enjoy family life. Maintaining a tidy home, keeping a well-stocked kitchen, and making sure the kids are safe is a tough job. So attending to these things, while also taking care of yourself, may prove somewhat difficult for you.
Self-Control
The self-control personality dimension captures the way in which a person regulates and directs him or herself. Being low in self-control can be both good and bad. Occasionally people may be compelled to follow their intuitions and give in to their temptations, and your degree of self-control makes this likely to happen more often than not. This can be good in circumstances where being relaxed and open are important. However, in situations where it is necessary to be focused and careful, you might find that you do or say things that may be inappropriate.
As someone who exerts little control over your actions, you may find that you commit social blunders that might offend other people and get yourself in trouble. For example, if you’re given responsibility to work on a project that requires close attention to detail, you may be likely to overlook important details because you have difficulty staying focused. Consequently, you might feel more comfortable delegating such tasks to other people who are more detail oriented. Being able to recognize such characteristics in yourself and having more detail-oriented people do such tasks could be an effective way to manage your own stress level.
Low self-control may diminish your effectiveness at work. Acting too relaxed can make it difficult for you to focus on projects that require organized sequences of steps or stages. Thus, your ability to accomplish may be inconsistent. Indeed, it’s possible that you might be criticized periodically for being unreliable or unable to “stay within the lines.” Nonetheless, you may still experience many short-lived pleasures and never be thought of as boring.
Openness
As someone high in openness, you have a strong appreciation for beauty, both in art and nature. Indeed, it’s likely that you are easily absorbed in music and art, as well as natural phenomena. Another aspect of your openness is your emotional insight; that is, you probably have good access to and awareness of your own emotions.
Another aspect of the openness dimension is the tendency to think about abstract concepts and ideas. This thinking style may take the form of artistic and metaphorical use of language, and/or music composition or performance. Thus, it is likely that, either in your work or spare time, you enjoy activities that get your “creative juices” flowing.
Your tendency to be open-minded can have advantages and disadvantages. For instance, when there are no clear rules about how to approach a particular problem, your openness makes it easier for you to identify new ways to solve problems that might not be very obvious to people that are not as open as you are. In contrast, you may be bored easily in situations that lack high amounts of intellectual stimulation. In such cases, you might have difficulty excelling on projects that do not provide much stimulation or require much creative thinking.
Easygoingness
Easygoingness refers to one's ability to relax. Based on your score, you appear to “take things as they come” and enjoy having a good time. However, being high in easygoingness also has the potential to produce stress in a number of ways. For example, you may find it difficult to complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently. In this way, being high in easygoingness cannot only make your life difficult, but also the lives of the people around you. Another potential problem with being too high in easygoingness is that it can provide you with gratification in the short-term, but in the long-term provide undesirable consequences.
High easygoingness, even when not seriously destructive, may also diminish your effectiveness at work, for example. You may find it aversive and difficult to put in all the effort that may sometimes be needed to effectively accomplish certain tasks. For this reason, your colleagues might view you as forgetful and unfocused.
How does your personality affect your love life?
Given the strong degree of confidence that you have, it’s no surprise that you get along well with most people. Indeed, it’s self-confidence that allows people to feel comfortable interacting with others without feeling insecure and vulnerable. For this reason, you shouldn’t have much difficulty in romance, at least not initially. Your social skills will likely help relieve any anxiety your romantic partners might have on those first few dates. However, over time, the high standards that you have for yourself could potentially frustrate your partner.
Because you respect family values but appreciate a good night out on the town, you probably get along well with people that are different from you. For this reason, you would probably be quite content in a romantic relationship with someone who shares your same values on these issues. Being in a relationship with someone who enjoys going out to parties and staying-up late at night might be fun, at least initially; yet it’s likely that you will find this tiring over time. Thus, it might be easier and more satisfying for you to develop a long-lasting relationship with a person who enjoys both spending time at home and going out to eat.
As someone who is more relaxed than most people, you likely get along with most people quite well. Chances are that your friends and colleagues perceive you as lively, fun to be with, and good-humored. When it comes to romance, you’ll likely be attracted to most people. However, your free-spirited nature might make being in a relationship with a person that is more rigid than you difficult because you might perceive the person as being too uptight and controlling.
Your openness probably makes it easy for you to respect and appreciate people that are different from you. However, when it comes to romantic relationships, your openness might make it difficult for you to tolerate people that cannot appreciate diversity as much as you. Therefore, you may be happiest in serious relationships with people that share your open-mindedness. But, your openness might occasionally cause a certain degree of dependency on your end because you may be so open that you easily adopt the preferences and habits of your partners and gradually relinquish things that make you so unique.

Guilty Pleasures.....
Guilty pleasures.....
Who has them, and what are they?
Mine?
Smoking, coffee, and Craigslist missed connections!
I love looking at these! lol
Here's one that I just love found in the Montana Craigslist section.\
"To the guy running around the loop outside of Hapner all at 9:35pm on 01/28/10
Thanks for flipping me off for no reason. Congrats hope it made you feel good! Weirdo "
How can you not laugh at that!
Y'all be good to yourselves.....and to someone else. I will see you down the road.

Sunday just sucked......
Colts lost to a Saints team that looked like it was doomed from the start of the game.....
And they cam back from 10 down to knock the mummy dust out of my Colts:~/
So, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what next season brings.
I'm out working in the snow again.
We've got some heavy snow fall over the weekend and we are do for another 4 to 8 inches this morning into tomorrow.....
But nothing compared to what the folks in the Metro D.C. area have experienced.
Hope y'all are staying warm.
Peace out homie G monies.

Sidney Rice should be fired!
Rice was left looking like a Notre Dame DB on this play. Notice how the Vikings wideout still had to go like 8 yards to get into the end zone. Rice is left looking around like a sucka!
Super Bowl Sunday
So here it is......
A team that brought it's city so much joy after so much pain......
And another team that just doesn't do it any other way.....
It feels like the night before Christmas......
I didn't feel like working at all Saturday night so I just stayed in.....
I might work tonight after the game.....
First I've got to get my phone up and running.....
My iPhone is down for now and my old blackberry isn't working for some reason so I'll have to get up and run to the T Mobile store in the morning to have them get that fixed. Hopefully it won't cost me any money.....
This week has really seemed long......
With my Grandpa's failing health and the Colts on the verge of their 2nd World Championship in 3 years, it hasn't been easy on my emotions.....
I do know that I will probably cry either way with the out come of tonight's game.....
The Colts are really the only bright spot we have in this city......
Lord knows Larry Bird has ran the Pacers into the cellar of the NBA.
Notre Dame football hasn't done much of anything worth waking up the Echos.....
I know the Saints are a really feel good story.....
And I know Ellen is a huge fan.....
But, our Colts are THE BEST!
Y'all be good to yourselves.....and to someone else. I will see you down the road.
GO COLTS!

Never Alone
Tuesday afternoon I woke up to my brother calling to tell me that my Grandpa was taken to the hospital.....
The ran a battery of test and could not find anything wrong with him.....
So the released him back to the retirement community.
I decided to go down yesterday morning to visit fo a few.
When we went to say good bye, I bent down and gave him a kiss on his forehead and he started to cry. I took his hand and told him how much I loved him and he said that he loved me too. I told him it was okay and that he had had a good life and I was proud to have known him.....

Prayers.....
My grandpa Paul isn't doing so well.....
I talked to him this evening and he said that "it's time to go."
I ask that you keep him in your prayers.....
That God will find mercy on him.....
and that it's not painful.....
I will see you down the road.

Questions surround donations to Brizzi campaign
Indianapolis - Questions are being raised over the timing of campaign contributions made to the Marion County prosecutor.

According to our news gathering partners at the Indianapolis Star, Carl Brizzi accepted nearly $30,000 in donations from the father of a woman convicted in a plot to murder her husband. Paula Willoughby was sentenced to 70 years in prison in 1991, but was released after serving just 18 years.
The newspaper reports Brizzi and his chief trial deputy, David Wyser, accepted campaign contributions from Willoughby's father as they negotiated her reduced prison time. Brizzi defended the sentence modification Saturday, saying it was not influenced by campaign donations.
"We've got lawyers making contributions to judges that they're in front of all the time. We have people who make contributions to prosecutors and legislators and businesses, so this is the kind of stuff that happens and, when there's an issue, then the right thing to do is return the contributions, which is what happened in both cases, and move on," Brizzi said.

A law professor told the Indianapolis Star these particular donations raise the appearance that people are buying justice.
